I’m Caroline Bell, founder of Aquamarine Reflexology (Belper) and I offer reflexology treatments from my home in Belper, Derbyshire. I strongly believe that reflexology can offer many benefits for your health and wellbeing.
I treat people of all ages and as a Level 5 reflexology practitioner I am qualified to treat many different illnesses and aches and pains, or simply to help provide relaxation and stress relief. I am trained in foot, hand and auricular (ear) reflexology and will use one or a combination of these techniques to treat you, depending on your preferences and what is going to be the most effective treatment.
As a member of the Association of Reflexologists I am continually developing my skills and deepening my knowledge of different aspects of reflexology and different specialisms.

We all experience stress and anxiety as part of everyday life at some point and having reflexology allows you to take some time out for yourself and regain some tranquillity and balance. Reflexology can be used to aid relaxation and wellbeing, relieve stress and anxiety and boost energy levels or to treat specific health problems.
Reflexology is a holistic, complementary, health therapy that aims to help the body regain its natural balance and homeostasis. It is a touch therapy that is based on the theory that all parts of the body are reflected in different points on the feet, hands and ears. By working on these points using small movements of the fingers and thumbs to apply pressure to these reflexes, we encourage the body to heal itself.
Reflexology is a complementary therapy and it is recommended that it is used alongside, not instead of, conventional medicine and does not claim to diagnose or cure illnesses. If you have reflexology treatments for any health issues you should still seek medical advice.
The first time I came across reflexology was when I had a treatment to help with stress, for relaxation purposes, and subsequently I accessed it for help with menopausal symptoms. I was struck by how deeply I relaxed during the treatments and how much calmer and balanced I felt afterwards.
I developed a passion for reflexology and the benefits I believe it can confer and so decided to train as a reflexologist. I completed the Level 5 Practitioner Diploma with Jubilee College under David Wayte, the first reflexologist to be admitted as a member of the Royal Society of Medicine.
I am a member of Association of Reflexologists and am passionate about updating my practice and learning new skills.
